It’s the weekend! On Saturday, we headed to Kigali for our first excursion. Our first stop was the Kigali Genocide Memorial, where we paid our respects by laying roses on mass graves.

How is it Friday already?! Our days were filled with more Kodu programming, team building, and culture!

Rise and shine started at 7:00 am for the WiSci Camp! With breakfast from 7:30 am–8:30 am, our bellies were filled with an assortment of omelets, bananas, sweet bread, and various jams.

Monday was our first day of class! We kicked off with breakfast and a pre-assessment test to get a sense of current knowledge in computer programming, game design, and soft skills.
